Artists for Azuero – 2012 Edition
The Azuero Earth Project is pleased to announce its first artistic collaboration, Artists for Azuero, featuring plates designed by contemporary artists Teresita Fernandez, April Gornik, Mary Heilmann, Maya Lin, Richard Prince, and Ed Ruscha. In support of the global impact that comes from the Azuero Earth Project’s work, this group of internationally acclaimed, contemporary artists have each contributed an image to be reproduced on a functional dinner plate. These artists represent a diverse range of styles and genres; from painting and photography to sculpture and environmental art, and will focus on images inspired by the natural world. The set is a limited edition of 500, made by Lenox China of the highest quality bone china and consists of six 11” dinner plates.
